About Sanjay Mitra

Sanjay is a leadership coach and leadership development facilitator enabling leaders and teams to unlock their inner potential and unleash the 'greatness' in them. Increase their focus, influence and impact by being more aware of –- ‘who they are’ and ‘who can they be’. His Sanjay’s thoughts and approach has been shaped by his teachers who are some of the great worldworld’s greatest thought thought-leaders –- Thich Nhat Hanh (Zen master –- mindfulness, nominee of Nobel Peace award, Plum Village), Thay Phap Dung (Plum Village), Dave Ulrich (top 50 management thinkers, Ross Business School, Michigan), Swami Vivekananda, Swami Chinmayananda & Swami Nikhilananda (Vedic monks –- Masters in Upanishads), Marshal Goldsmith (Top 10 leadership Coach), Marilyn Atkinson (Founder of Ericson Coaching International, Canada), Patricia Bidol Padva (Dean of OD at NTL Institute, US) and Brenda Jones ( Vice President of The Lewin Center for Social Change, Action and Research, Past president of The NTL, past Board Chair for OD Network, and a 2011 recipient of the Organization Development Network’s (ODN) Lifetime Achievement Award), Juliann Spoth (Gestalt Institute of Cleveland Inc and NTL) , Chade Meng Tan (SIYLI – Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, SFO), Col Umed Singh (Senior Instructor at Military Officer Training Academy, India).

Sanjay is also a certified practitioner on ‘Mindfulness’ from Plum village, France (Zen master –– Thich Nhat Hanh) and Emotional Intelligence EQi 2.0. He is currently working with SIYLI, San Francisco (Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute) school on a program that is born in Google and based on Neuro Science, to become a certified teacher for SIY. He is also certified in Leadership architect, Competency profiling and High Potential development from Lominger (Korn Ferry). He is an alumnus of Ross business Business schoolSchool, Michigan, and Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philipines. He thereby leverages all his learning to coach senior leaders and conduct leadership retreats/ sessions, helping the participants to be happy leaders, create happy teams and lead joyfully while gaining ‘personal mastery’ with high productivity.

Sanjay conceptualises, customises and designs situation specific interventions to ensure that business gets the desired result, while the leadership (senior execs and Team leads Leads find a purpose to ‘make the difference’. As Global OD head and being part of Global Talent management team in fortune 300 global organisations, having worked in US MNCs, European MNCs and largest Indian MNC (Tatas), Sanjay gained a wide exposure and a great global view point.

He was awarded the prestigious membership at the NTL (National Training Labs), USA by the board of international OD practitioners. He was also honoured by NASSCOM for his contributions in India. He has taught at some of the very well reputed universities and business schools in India like ISB (Indian School of Business) Hyderabad and Mohali, Deloitte University, SBI (State Bank of India) Leadership Institute, DSE (Delhi School of Economics), Symbiosis (Pune), Delhi University.
